On one of the summer’s last warm evenings, local businesses along the Lincoln Avenue corridor hosted the community for first annual Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce Wine Stroll. Best Vacuum was a featured stop for this street party that featured wine tastings, small bites and friendly conversation.
We offered savory chocolate fondue from longtime Chicago favorite Geja’s Café . (The only disappointment of the night was it did not inspire anyone to get engaged!) For the wine tasting, we had a full-bodied and fruity cabernet sauvignon from Friuli-Venzia Giulia and a wonderful brut champagne from the Pierre Delize winery. Both were well received.
With jazz playing in the background and people popping in and out, eating, drinking and chatting, it was a combination open house and block party. We saw new faces and long-time customers alike throughout the evening. It was a great way for us to connect and share with the neighborhood. We had a blast.
Wine and food weren’t the only things we offered. Our “Wine Stroll Raffle” gave people the chance to win a Dyson DC34 handheld vacuum, an ultra-quiet compact Blueair 103 Air Purifier or one of the two grand prizes: a Dyson DC65 Animal vacuum or a Miele S7 Homecare vacuum.
We’ve been at our Lincoln Avenue location for over 29 years and are always excited to engage the surrounding community. Events like the Wine Stroll help Best Vacuum to stay neighborly in the neighborhood.
