Transitioning between them is easy with the handle-mounted carpet-to-bare floor switch. The power switch for the vacuum is mounted on the handle as well.

The Miele Cat & Dog lies flat on the ground, and is outfitted with an LED headlight so the tumbleweeds of pet hair that clump under the couch don’t stand a chance. But the floor isn’t the only problem: for pet hair that grafts onto furniture or hanging clothes, the Miele Cat & Dog includes the STB 101 Mini Turbo brush, as well as the standard dusting brush, crevice tool and upholstery tool.
