Special Filtration
The Nilfisk Family Vac differs from your regular home vacuum cleaner because of its special filtration capabilities. An ordinary vacuum cleaner only removes particles 35 microns or larger in size. (To put a micron in perspective, one human hair is 80-100 microns in diameter.) The Family Vac uses three separate filters to capture and eliminate up to 99.97% of all particles down to and including 0.3 microns -- the size of some bacteria. - Paper Bag: A two-ply, 1.3 gallon capacity disposable paper (cellulose) bag is the first line of defense in capturing dust particles. This is where the bulk of collected dust is retained to later provide for easy, dust-free disposal.
