The Miele Olympus C1 vacuum cleaner is the entry-level model in Miele’s line of canisters. This Miele C1 vacuum cleaner is perfect for homes with mostly bare floors, area rugs, and looped berber carpet. It’s lightweight, easy to operate, and includes all the basics that make the Miele C1 vacuum cleaner a great choice for budget-minded shoppers.

Weighing only 10 pounds, the Miele Classic C1 Olympus vacuum packs a lot into its small, sleek design. It includes the Combination Rug and Floor tool, intended to be the only tool you need for both area rugs and bare flooring. A dusting brush, upholstery nozzle and crevice tool fit snugly on a Vario clip at the base of the hose. Inside the Miele C1 Olympus is the 4.76 quart self-closing dust bag, and the Super Air Clean filter (which can, at any time, be replaced with an HEPA filter). Its 18-foot cord contributes to its impressive 29.5-foot operating radius, and retracts smoothly into the canister via the automatic cable rewind system.

The extra-long handle on the Miele Olympus vacuum improves the airflow of the vacuum, and reduces the stress on your wrist. The vacuum follows you on three smooth-running 360° caster wheels while you clean, responding to a gentle tug of the hose. For short breaks, the stainless steel wand and floor tool can simply be inserted into the park system on the back of the machine.

The Miele Olympus is powered by Miele’s patented 1200-watt Vortex Motor System, which gives the user six different suction settings controlled by a rotary dial with easy-to-understand symbols. In the event of a clog, the Miele Olympus engages its safety shut-off feature to prevent overheating the motor.
