Worked out great. I was especially appreciative of the emails telling me when the order was shipped and when I could expect it. With all of the package theft occurring in Portland it was a relief to know when to expect my order so I could make sure I was home.

Why does a TriFlex cost more than other cordless sticks?
You are buying the machine once. A TriFlex is built with serviceable parts rather than sealed into a disposable body, and it comes from an authorized Miele dealer. A cheaper cordless replaced every few years costs more across the same span.
How long does the battery really last?
Up to 60 minutes on the lowest setting with the motor unit alone. With the electric brush attached, plan on about 30 minutes on the lowest setting and 17 on the highest. A full recharge takes 240 minutes.
Are they easy to maintain?
Yes. There is no bag to buy: you empty the dust container when it fills. The exhaust filter is a lifetime filter, and as an authorized Miele dealer our specialists can help with parts and service.
Will the HX1 Facelift work on my carpet?
Yes, on low and medium pile. The Multi Floor XXL electric brush performs well across hardwood, rugs and low-pile carpet, and the convertible design adapts to any room. For thick or high-pile carpet, a Miele canister with a powered brush is the better tool.
Is it good for allergies?
It helps, but it is not the strongest choice for allergies. It uses a Hygiene lifetime filter rather than HEPA. If allergies are your priority, the TriFlex HX1 PLUS and HX2 models use a HEPA lifetime filter.
