Worked out great. I was especially appreciative of the emails telling me when the order was shipped and when I could expect it. With all of the package theft occurring in Portland it was a relief to know when to expect my order so I could make sure I was home.

Why does a TriFlex cost more than other cordless sticks?
You are buying the machine once. A TriFlex is built with serviceable parts rather than sealed into a disposable body, and it comes from an authorized Miele dealer. A cheaper cordless replaced every few years costs more across the same span.
How long does the battery really last?
Up to 60 minutes on the lowest setting with the motor unit alone. Running time drops with the electric brush attached and at higher power, and a full recharge takes 240 minutes.
Are they easy to maintain?
Yes. There is no bag to buy: you empty the dust container when it fills. The exhaust filter is a lifetime filter, and as an authorized Miele dealer our specialists can help with parts and service.
Will the HX2 work on my carpet?
Yes, on low and medium pile, though it is at its best on hard floors, some carpet and area rugs. The convertible design glides across surfaces with enough suction to refresh rugs. For thick or high-pile carpet, a Miele canister with a powered brush is the better tool.
Is it good for allergies?
Yes. The HEPA lifetime filter and sealed system keep fine dust and dander inside the machine rather than pushing it back out through the exhaust.
