Worked out great. I was especially appreciative of the emails telling me when the order was shipped and when I could expect it. With all of the package theft occurring in Portland it was a relief to know when to expect my order so I could make sure I was home.

Why are Miele vacuums more expensive?
You buy it once. Miele engineers and tests its vacuums for 20+ years of use, with German manufacture, sealed filtration and serviceable parts. A cheaper machine replaced every 4–7 years costs more over the same span.
How long do Miele vacuums last?
Miele designs and tests its vacuums to run for around twenty years in a typical home. Because the machine is meant to be serviced rather than discarded, genuine parts and authorized repair stay available well beyond the warranty, so a single vacuum can carry a household through decades of everyday cleaning.
Is it easy to maintain?
Yes, and you never buy bags. The hygienic dust bin empties without the mess, and the Blizzard CX1 series uses maintenance-free filtration.
How is a Miele different from a Dyson?
Both empty into a bin, so the difference comes down to build and service. A Blizzard CX1 is a corded canister with Vortex Technology for deep, continuous suction and a 32-foot reach, and it is built to be repaired instead of replaced.
Will the Blizzard CX1 Cat & Dog work on my carpet?
Yes, from low to high pile. The SEB 228 Electro Plus Powerbrush is made for carpet and pet hair, the Mini Turbobrush tackles fur on upholstery, and the Parquet Twister handles hard floors.
Is it good for allergies?
Yes. The HEPA AirClean filter helps keep dander and allergens out of your air, and the hygienic dust bin lets you empty it without the mess.
